Unique Aerodynamic Blade Profile
As a logical extension to our technological advances and innovations, PARAG offers structurally strong hollow, lightweight construction blades with sophisticated aerodynamic profile.

Conventional metal / aluminum blades offer lower lift to drag (Cl / Cd) ratio resulting in flow separation and turbulence at leading edge of the blades causing higher profile loss. PARAG provides higher blade twist angle and optimum camber offering very high efficiency of the fans. PARAG's blade profile confirming to N.A.C.A. 23012 aerofoil characteristics with high Cl / Cd ratio, greater twist, taper, camber and consistent FRP blade shape can improve total efficiency up to 90% which will certainly facilitate considerable energy savings or higher air flow for the identical operating conditions (Air Flow, Total Pressure and RPM) in a given system.

Energy Savings
Existing metal fan blades are designed with very low cl/cd ratio due to poor aerodynamics. Since PARAG FRP Fans are designed with very efficient aerodynamic blade profile and high twist & camber characteristics, PARAG Fans provide 15-35% power savings as compared to Metal / GRP fans available in market.

Higher Air Flow
PARAG Fan blades can offer up to 12% more air as compared to existing metallic & GRP blades enabling higher productivity or cooling capacity.

Light Weight
PARAG Fan blades are light weight which minimize handling during maintenance resulting in less down time. Light weight also increases life of gear box, bearings & motor.

Low Noise
Unique airfoil design significantly reduces the operational fan noise level compared to existing fans.

Low Maintenance & Vibration Free
PARAG Fan blades are moment balanced for ease of installation and eliminate system vibration. This will also reduce fan maintenance/ replacement frequency.

Corrosion & Erosion Resistant
PARAG Fan are made from epoxy and polyester resin system. This material is immune to corrosion. Further fan blade leading edges are manufactured with built in erosion protection from impinging water droplets.

Tough & Durable
PARAG Fan blades possess very high strength to weight ratio compared to conventional metallic blades enabling longer blade life. Further optimum angle of incidence avoid unnecessary stress on fan blades that can cause blade failure.

Advance Blade Manufacturing
PARAG FRP Fan blades are made with very high accuracy and precision, using moulds period This is not possible with the manufacturing process used for the existing aluminum / metal blades. Both casting and extrusion manufacturing, processes have challenges towards expensive tooling as well as generating blade profiles with high twist and camber characteristics. This has restricted them to retain low camber in their design. Further there is a high level of inconsistency in manufacturing tolerances of blades or dimensional stability of the metallic blades causing further deterioration of fan performance.

PARAG Fans are manufactured using advance vacuum infusion technology enabling uniform weight and wall thickness.
To ensure higher quality products to customers, state of the art manufacturing process is adopted using advanced manufacturing facilities and stringent quality norms.

Fan blades are manufactured from Vacuum Infusion Process (VIP) to achieve the following:
Better fiber to resin ratio.
Lower weight.
Very consistent resin usage thus negligible blade weight and wall thickness variation.
Higher aerodynamic accuracy, consistency and superior surface finish.
Vacuum infusion takes different approach, in that a vacuum is drawn while the materials are still dry. From that point, resin is infused using vacuum pressure. Rather than starting with excess and drawing resin out, VIP starts with none & pushing resin in. Ideally any excess resin that is introduced eventually be sucked out in the vacuum line. As a result, only the minimum amount of resin is introduced.

The difference:
Lower blade weight
Increased blade strength
Maximizes the properties of fiber & resin

Efficient drying process is used for curing FRP blades. State of the art dynamic balancing techniques & machines are used for proper balancing and vibration free operations of the fan assemblies. Similarly, match moment machine is electronic equipment used to synchronize the moment value of different fan blades. Thus perfectly manufactured PARAG Fans offers trouble free, superior performance, increased efficiency and ease of installation as compared to conventional metallic fans.
